UNICO
By developing its own automatic chronograph movement, Hublot wanted it tobe - like all of its creations - the frst, different and unique. As the soul of thewatch, this movement with an “open heart" reveals its completely re-imagineddesign, with double coupling system and column-wheel from the dial side aswell as a 72-hour power reserve. Its construction of 354 components has beensimplifed as much as possible to improve reliability and robustness.
Materials
TITANIUM
Titanium is extensively used by Hublot, specifcally for its lightness. It displaysthe best relationship between resistance and weight of any material, whichmakes it an extremely popular material especially within aeronautics. It alsostands out with its resistance to corrosion and its inertia in contact with theskin. Hublot only uses high quality, grade 5 titanium, the strongest there is.Once polished, this material retains a slightly bluish metallic sheen.
